WATER NEED ADDRESSED

Six 10,000 litter tanks were installed in 2011. This made quite a difference for the school community; no more daily trips to the village dug-well; students simply fill up their plastic containers with this water from heaven.

FR. DAVID'S VISIT

Fr. David’s first visit with the FECU sponsored students was a very joyful event. The school Principal was just as excited as the students and their parents. They had never met him before; one can only imagine what was going on in their minds, as he introduced him to them!

Together We Can Do It!

PhotoWelcome to the Foundation for the Education of Children in Uganda (FECU) for the purpose of enabling them to attain high school education. In this developing country the demand for education is big: parents want it, and their children desire it. However, for a number of children from low income families it’s impossible to get to that level of education, due to the fees required in high schools, private or public,. You, therefore, will be warmly welcomed to support the FECU initiative.

What Our Students Say...

PhotoWhen time came for senior ones to start school, I didn’t have money to go to school. Our parish priest Rev. Fr. Sserwadda David told my grandmother that he had got an admission letter of St. Pontiano Secondary School which he gave her. In secondary, life is good especially now that I got a sponsor for my studies.
